Image headers help create visual interest and can showcase the activities taking place within your Branch – However, care must be taken to ensure that image headers remain accessible and easy to read, always remember the header text will be white, so consider using simple, darker imagery to maintain contrast.
Solid Colour Header
Solid colour headers provide a cleaner, simpler appearance. Allowing you to pick from 6 Pony Club Brand colours.
They work particularly well for:
- Information pages
- Committee pages
- Resource pages
- General Branch content
They also ensure excellent readability on all devices.
White Header
White headers provide the most formal appearance.
They are ideal for:
- Policy documents
- Rules and regulations
- Official notices
- Governance information
The white header option prioritises clarity and readability over visual impact
Updating a Header
To change a page header image:
- Log in to WordPress.
- Navigate to the page you wish to update.
- Select Edit Page.
- Click Meta Boxes – and locate the Page Header settings
- Choose your desired header type, and if required select an image
- Remember to Save your changes!
